Centre for Studies of Income and Living Standards is established at November 2012. Since 2016 is part of Institute for Social Policy.

The focus of the Centre’s research is the study of issues related the wellbeing of the Russian population, income levels and income inequality, as well as instrumental and methodological development of ways to simulate the effects that economic policies, the tax system, and social assistance for members of the population (including the pension system and family policy) have on people’s quality of life, the prevention of child abandonment in Russia, and social support for families with children.
